My new obsession!

Happy Monday! I woke up feeling a little under the weather this morning (sore throat - yuck) so I wanted an extra dose of vitamins with breakfast. Cue my new favorite green smoothie from Oh She Glows. Seriously, one of these in morning makes me feel like a million bucks. It's a little intense, so if you've never had a green smoothie before I would try something with almond milk or more fruit in it before graduating to this one. It's banana-free, so it's perfect for those who are trying to cut back on carbs. You'll need kale, a cucumber, an apple, a lemon, coconut oil, ginger and a little bit of maple syrup. I also add a little water and serve it over ice.

smoothieI just got a Vitamix from all of my aunts at my bridal shower and I'm definitely putting it to use. My plan is to have a green smoothie everyday until the wedding - I'm doing pretty well so far! I'm also already feeling better from this's definitely a miracle worker!
