One of my favorite elements of our entire wedding was all of the decor and details. I spent so much time on Pinterest looking for ways to make our wedding day unique and I couldn't be happier with the results! Here are a few of my favorite detail shots, starting with my gorgeous bouquet!Caroline's flower girl basket, filled with the homemade literary confetti I blogged about earlier! All of the floral arrangements and tablescapes were so gorgeous - a huge thank you to Whitney at Branch Design Studio for her amazing work! She made my Pinterest board come to life. The bouquets were made of cotton blossoms, fringe tulips, tea roses and peonies surrounded by candles and mercury glass.
Several spilling bouquets of baby's breath scattered around the room made such a statement and gave the tables some height. They're also super cost-effective! Lace runners laid across vintage farm tables for the ultimate rustic-chic look. Paper lanterns and twinkle lights on a vine were scattered throughout the ceiling.
The huge brick fireplace was a main focal point in the room - my mother-in-law Sandy decorated the mantle with gorgeous L-O-V-E letters - a nod to our Philly roots. We also had vintage couches and chairs surrounding the fireplace to create casual seating areas for the guests. We brought these adorable pillows from home!Sandy also made these amazing wreaths that hung on the barn doors. She's so talented!Instead of programs, I created this sign that sat at the entrance of the ceremony with all of the important details - and some fun facts about the venue!Mason jars filled with baby's breath lined the aisle for a simple statement. Our guests RAVED about these appetizers - chicken and waffles!! Cru Catering was amazing!I also created custom signs for the bar and food stations - our signature cocktails were a huge hit!Cocktails were served in mason jars with paper straws - I didn't expect our guests to put our custom koozies around them, but it worked!
I bought all of the frames for signage at Michaels - they worked perfectly!Last but not least, our dessert table!! We had a spread of mini pies, tartlets and chocolates with a small cake decorated with sweetgrass. Ashley Bakery did a fantastic job! Sandy also made these amazing pennant banners with vintage hankies that hung around the room - gorgeous!Every little detail made our wedding day so incredibly special. A huge thank you to all of the vendors who made it possible!!
