Franklin loves water - probably more than any dog I know. He'll actually jump into the tub while I'm showering if I let him! Slight problem though - french bulldogs can't really swim. As soon as we arrived at the house we rented in South Carolina for the wedding, Franklin made a dash for the pool in the backyard and jumped right in! Poor little guy sunk right to the bottom and my dad had to jump in and save him. So, rather than deprive Frank of a lifetime without swimming, we got him a life jacket! Check out his stylish new floatation device: He didn't exactly love wearing him, but I'm sure he'll change his tune once he's swimming around the pool!!
Happy Friday everyone!

Happy Friday everyone! Today's Frenchie Friday is dedicated to a few pieces of frenchie-inspired art I've found over the past few weeks! Our friend Kate got us this amazing frenchie print for our wedding from Crate and Barrel - it's hanging in our living room right now! I love the geometric print - so cool. I found this really cool typography print at the Flavors of the Avenue festival in Philly last weekend - love it!However, no work of art could ever replace this face!!
Have a great weekend everyone! Next week I'll have Cinco de Mayo party tips, fun jello shot recipes and more - stay tuned!

Happy Friday everyone! Sorry I'm posting a little late today - Reese and I just got back from Atlantic City. He had a work event last night, so my friend Christina babysat Franklin, along with her 3 pugs! Thanks Auntie Tina - Franklin had a great time!! Today I'm featuring my favorite photos of Franklin from the wedding! He was such a ham all day, and the camera loved him! Check them out...

Wow - what an amazing week we had down in Charleston for our wedding! Thank you SO much to everyone who made the trip down. Each and every one of you made our wedding so incredible, we'll remember it for the rest of our lives. I'll be posting more about the wedding next week, but today's post is dedicated to the star of the week - Franklin! We brought him to Boone Hall earlier in the day to take some photos in his adorable bow tie, and we ended up taking too much time and he had to stay for the ceremony! I think the best part of our entire wedding day was during the ceremony, right after Reese said "I do," Franklin barked twice, like he was saying it too! The entire place was cracking up for a good 5 minutes - it was amazing. Everyone swore we trained him for months to do that, but he wasn't even supposed to be there! It was perfect. He was such a ham for the cameras - our fabulous photographers, Amelia and Dan loved him!His dog whisperer for the day, Kurt, did an awesome job taking care of him and it made for some amazing photos. This is quite possibly the best photo ever taken - kudos to Bert for capturing this fantastic moment! Just look at that smile - he loved it there!More photos will be coming soon! I can't wait to see the fabulous work of Amelia and Dan! xo Court and Franklin
