Typography Tuesday {11}

New year, fresh start - I am vowing right now to live a healthier life this year. Now I know the term "healthy" means something different to everyone, but to me it means making healthier food choices, becoming more active and living every day to fullest. I found this quote and thought it would be a good reminder to everyone at the beginning of the new year. Enjoy!type_RWE Fonts used: KG Two is Better Than One and Hello Heartache

Typography Tuesday {5}

Greetings from Palo Alto! I'll be posting about my day in San Francisco a little later, but first, I wanted to share something a little different for today's Typography Tuesday. Below is a free download (woo for free stuff!) for a desktop wallpaper that I created. It's currently the background on my MacBook - I needed something to remind me to chill the heck out from time to time. I think this accomplishes that, but it's still fun! Invitation: Class Reunion

Several weeks ago my cousin, Gabrielle, asked me to design an invitation for her 5 year high school reunion. Typically, reunion invitations aren't the most exciting things in the world, so I wanted to spruce it up. Her criteria: use our school colors (blue, black and white) and incorporate the "Williamstown Braves" logo. It became such a fun project! I used a combination of chalkboard and Varsity letter fonts with arrows and feather accents to tie in the mascot theme and capture their school spirit. I also designed a simple RSVP card with the same theme. In the end, the class of '08 loved them and they were a huge hit!
