Typography Tuesday {12}

I'm in the midst of honeymoon planning...and I'm super excited! We're heading to Paris and Barcelona at the end of May for 10 days and I can not wait. We rented an awesome apartment in Paris through airbnb right near the Champs-Elysees. I'm already day dreaming about having cheese, baguettes and champagne on our balcony - ah! I'm dedicating today's typography to Paris, since it's on my mind...Paris Fonts used: Couture and Madame Klara

If anyone has any tips or recommendations, please send them my way! We've never been to Paris or Barcelona, so we're definitely in the market for a few tips about each city.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Inspired by: Typography!

I was actually going to post this yesterday for "Typography Tuesday," but I ran out of time (and natural daylight for my photo) so I'm making it work for today. I went to Paper Source with the intention of buying different thank you cards but these caught my eye. I loved all of the bright colors and fun fonts used to say "thank you" in different languages, and the packaging was adorable! They also fit perfectly with my Parisian-inspired bridal shower. Win! securedownloadIf you're on the east coast, stay warm! We're getting another snowstorm...yippee. Is it spring yet? xo Court

Invitation: First Birthday

Happy Halloween everyone! Last night I went with a bunch of friends to a haunted house in Philly, even though I hate being scared. It wasn't terrible. Sure, I jumped and screamed a little, but I think watching The Walking Dead has softened the blow a little. One word of advice? Don't mock the people who work there. I told one zombie lady that her asylum-style head cage would actually make a great wedding centerpiece. I was serious - it looked like a vintage lantern. She didn't seem to like that comment though and tried to make me go through the house by myself. Nice try, crazy lady. Not happening. Anyway, today's post is dedicated to a first birthday invitation I designed for my godchild and soon-to-be niece, Lindsey. Reese's sister, Sara, wanted a pink and gold theme, so I worked with the colors and her Pinterest board to design this sweet yet simple invite. I love the colors (they're actually my wedding colors!) and the fonts I found are adorable. Can't wait to see Sara's amazing decorating at the party!

Baby_inviteIf you ever like what you see and would like me to design something for you, feel free to email me at courtney_crg@yahoo.com. I'm working on getting an Etsy shop together, but until then I'm doing freelance projects and building my portfolio!
