Frenchie Friday!

Franklin loves water - probably more than any dog I know. He'll actually jump into the tub while I'm showering if I let him! Slight problem though - french bulldogs can't really swim. As soon as we arrived at the house we rented in South Carolina for the wedding, Franklin made a dash for the pool in the backyard and jumped right in! Poor little guy sunk right to the bottom and my dad had to jump in and save him. So, rather than deprive Frank of a lifetime without swimming, we got him a life jacket! Check out his stylish new floatation device:securedownload He didn't exactly love wearing him, but I'm sure he'll change his tune once he's swimming around the pool!!

Happy Friday everyone!

Frenchie Friday

Happy Friday! These rare weeks where we don't have a snow day sure do feel long, don't they? Well we made it to the weekend, and it's an exciting one! Reese has his bachelor party this weekend (I've already wished him good luck...he's going to need it with his crew) and I'll be here in Philly celebrating one of my favorite holidays...St. Patricks Day!

Here is a throwback pic of Franklin celebrating his first St. Patricks Day as a little pup. I loved his little green sweater! Too bad it only fits on one of his legs now. securedownloadHave fun celebrating the Irish this weekend! I know I will...I'll be running around Philly sporting some awesome bright green pants :)

Frenchie Friday!

Greetings everyone! I just got back from my final dress fitting...AH! Everything fit perfectly and it's good to go! The countdown is on... I'm also counting down the days until baseball season! We're big Phillies fans in this house and we've been watching some spring training games. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go to Phillies game...we always have big tailgating parties, and it's always a good time. Franklin loves the baseball too. His favorite player? Chase "Muttley." He's already getting in the baseball spirit!securedownloadIt may be frigid outside, but we have our eyes on spring! Have a great weekend everyone!

Frenchie Friday!

Have you been outside yet today? It's not freezing, snowing, or raining...dare I say this may be the end of our big freeze this winter? Franklin's hopeful...he's sick of being stuck in the house (as am I). In order to keep his spirits up, I've been bribing him with bacon and Frosty Paws. Here he is, waiting patiently for a piece of bacon from my cobb salad today:securedownloadTomorrow I'm getting a facial at Rescue Spa in Philly - I've never had one before! Apparently this place works wonders on your face. With the wedding about a month and a half away, I'm doing all I can to have a glowing complexion for the big day. Hopefully I don't have some ridiculous reaction...knock on wood! Have a great weekend!

Frenchie Friday: Valentine's Day Edition!

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm very lucky to have two wonderful valentines in my life - my fiance, and Franklin! Sure, his gift to me may have been puking up his breakfast on our new rug, but I still love him. After all, he is the best snuggler in the world! This morning, we did a little photo shoot with the red chair in our living room - he just looked so cute!securedownload-4 Tonight, Reese and I are going to dinner at The Fat Ham, a new southern-style restaurant in Philly. I can't wait! The wedding diet will definitely be on hold for this meal.

Have a fabulous day with your loved ones!
